Technique: Oil paint – on canvas
Dimensions: 70 x 105 cm Year: 2020
“The Countess” blends mystery, power, and rebellion in a theatrical atmosphere. The pointed eye patch and dramatic red ruffled collar emphasize the figure’s rebellious grace, while a theatrical closure, rather than sharp stares, creates a visual silence for the viewer. Pale skin, dark lips, and lace details bring gothic elegance to this work. With its elegant balance of darkness and grace, “The Countess” is a portrait that will add striking energy to modern collections.”
